Abstract

Introduction: Family members of PTSD are more likely to hurt due to their constant contact with PTSD patient. The present research intends to recognize the secondary PTSD and MARRIAGE SATISFACTION among the wives of PTSD in order to provde an answer to the question that how much the PTSD signs have effects on secondary PTSD and MARRIAGE SATISFACTION of their wives.Method: The research has been completed by measuring method and the samples were randomly selected. Among families whose their husbands suffered from PTSD and referred to Tehran Health Centers, 100 families (200 spouses) were requested with a questionnaire (marital satisfaction, MCCP, PCL and personal information.Results: Results showed secondary PTSD as with PTSD symptoms. In contrast, the level of marital satisfaction showed a negative and significant correlation with PTSD symptoms. These results also repeated for wives satisfaction of PTSD patients.Conclusion: when the trauma symptoms p… for a longtime, it may cause serious impact including family members which needs to help them in a set of a therapy… programs.
