Abstract

This study sought to examine the effect of WOMEN’S EMPLOYMENT on family through comparison of education and automobile industry employees. The research was of descriptive-survey type and to collect data, standard questionnaires were used to measure mental health and MARITAL SATISFACTION. CHILDREN’S EDUCATIONAL STATUS was also determined through their GPAs. Two 50-member sample groups were extracted from the population under study. The same number of unemployed women citizens was randomly chosen as the control group. Results indicated that, in respect to GENERAL HEALTH and MARITAL SATISFACTION, unemployed women had a better condition and had a significant difference with both employed groups. In regard to CHILDREN’S EDUCATIONAL STATUS, women employed in education stood first and had a significant difference with employees in industry.
