Abstract

The aim of the study is designation of the effectiveness level of COMMUNICATION SKILLS training on MARITAL CONFLICTS and the QUALITY OF LIFE among married women in Islamic Azad University, Tehran Science and Research Branch. The statistical society of this study consisted married female university students who agreed to take part in communication courses held by the research team. The tools applied for this study consisted the marital conflict questionnaire and the short scale of assessing QUALITY OF LIFE given by WHO, research plans, the pre-test and post-test plans. At first, the pre-test was conducted for both groups. Then, the Experimental intervention (communication skill training) was offered to the test group. After all, the post-test was given to both groups. The result of analyzing the assumptions, using the statistical analysis of co-variance, indicated that training the communicative skills caused the MARITAL CONFLICTS to be decreased, and had a positive impact on QUALITY OF LIFE.
