Abstract

 COBIT framework is an international model for implementation and support of IT controls toward organization and business objectives. This framework submits 6 control metrics for assessing processes and fields. With regard to high amount of investment in IT sector in recent years and defining new fields for more investment, assessing and ranking IT fields has attracted high degrees of importance. Therefore, the multi-criteria decision making methods (MCDM) can be used. When decision making is faced with multiple options and parameters, the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) can be used for ranking options and parameters as one of the best techniques. This method has quantitative and qualitative criteria. But it should be noted that the traditional hierarchical analysis, may not fully reflect the human thinking style. In other words, the use of fuzzy sets, is more consistent with the description of human language And so it is better to use fuzzy sets (using fuzzy numbers) to predict long-term decisions in the real world. Therefore, in this study Group Fuzzy AHP (GFAHP) is being used to evaluate and prioritize areas of information technology management and the following process has been done. First, a survey has been done among information technology professionals and then after calculating Inconsistency rate with creating fuzzy digits, we have preauthorized the options with the developmental analysis technique. The study proves that from the point of expert managers, each of four areas have almost equal importance and have a deep attachment to each other.
