THE STUDY OF RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN GIS AND KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT COMPONENTS (CASE STUDY: ISFAHAN DOE)

Abstract

 The main purpose is very research is to study the relationship between GIS and KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT components. Because of mixing two categories of quantitative and qualitative researches, the very research method is a mixed exploratory method and information gathering tools include questionnaire and interview. The collected data by the questionnaire were described and analyzed by statistical method, using "EXCELL 2007" and "SPSS 20" Applications. The research results, indicates the existence of a meaningful relationship between GIS and KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT. The relationship between software components in GIS with KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT components was rejected which shows this system is comparatively complete in software regard. The strongest component of the very system is communicative network which indicates the importance of network GIS like web GIS.
