Abstract

This study between April 2009 until December 2009 has been done. Place of study is MIYANEH city and statistical society is 300 head of single – toxic.The sampling method was random, from blood smears and animal's skin of marginal ear veins with gimsa staining has been done.Result of skin test shows that tick infection have in 49/300 or 16.45 percent, which that 18 head of these included studied horses (14.75%) and 31 head of monkeys (17.41%) have tick infection.So 35 head of single – toxic included HYALOMA ANATOLICUM ANATOLICUM INFECTION (11.66%) and 20 head have rhipicephalus bursa infection (6.66%), and finally 6 head have haemaphysalis punctata infection. In some times we can see coinfection in some cases. The maximum of infection is HYALOMA ANATOLICUM ANATOLICUM INFECTION and in June (11.66%). So in blood smears stained with gimsa staining from five horses (4.1%) BABESIA equi funded, and no results of BABESIA caballi, finally no results of BABESIA in blood smears of monkeys founded.
