Abstract

 Background and Purpose: SERVANT LEADERSHIP is an understanding and practice of leadership that places the good of those led over the self-interest of the leader. In relation to the impact of SERVANT LEADERSHIP on MOTIVATION and PERFORMANCE of staff have been done very few researches and necessity of this research in order to fill part of the vacuum of knowledge in this field is evident in Iran. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the impact of SERVANT LEADERSHIP on the MOTIVATION and PERFORMANCE of Red Crescent East Azerbaijan organization staff.Method: The method of the research is descriptive and its type is correlation in method and its aim is applicative. The Statistical population was 150 Red Crescent East Azerbaijan organization staff, of which; 110 people were selected by using the Cochran's formula. data were collected through SERVANT LEADERSHIP questionnaire (Gholipour & Hazrati, 1388), and questionnaire MOTIVATION and PERFORMANCE the researcher was made. that their validity and reliability were confirmed. After gathering the questionnaire and analysis data the results of research were examined.Findings: The results show that SERVANT LEADERSHIP (with coefficient 0.861), has a positive impact on MOTIVATION and (with coefficient 0.829) on PERFORMANCE of the Red Crescent East Azerbaijan organization staff and There is a direct relationship (with coefficient 0.623) between MOTIVATION and PERFORMANCE of staff.Conclusion: According to the results of the present study all aspects of SERVANT LEADERSHIP has an impact on staff MOTIVATION and PERFORMANCE, Therefore The servant leaders should be more attention on serving the central core of is SERVANT LEADERSHIP. Humility, trustworthiness that one of the most influential factors in the leader-follower is relationship and kindness towards its staff by various methods including the appreciation and encouragement of staff, increase MOTIVATION and PERFORMANCE of staff.
