Abstract

A completely randomized design was carried out to study the PERFORMANCE of BROILER chicks fed diets different inclusion rates of ORGANIC ACIDs (0.0, 0.5, 1.0, and 1.5 %) for 6 weeks. 192 day– old BROILER chicks were allocated to 4 dietary treatments with 3 replicates. MSTAT– C test for statistical analysis, Duncan test to compare the means, were used. Result showed that using of ORGANIC ACIDs had not significant effect on feed intake (p<0.05). Supplemented diets with ORGANIC ACID had a significant effect on the body weight (BW) in starter period (p>0.05) ; Although BW was not affected by treatments at the end of experiment (p<0.05). ORGANIC ACIDs improved feed conversion ratio (FCR) significantly in both period (p<0.05). Feeding supplemented diets with ORGANIC ACIDs decreased significantly intestinal pH (p<0.01). According to results of this experiment, using of 0.5% ORGANIC ACIDs can be recommended in boiler diets.
