Abstract

A neglected component in security studies is the societal dimension of security and the STABLE NATIONAL SECURITY type. A significant issue in Security Studies is how the Fundamental values of national security have remained stable and will be protected from the harms of natural processes or intentional tricks. Therefore, it seems Essential to focus on two concepts: STABLE NATIONAL SECURITY and its societal pillar. The purpose of STABLE NATIONAL SECURITY is that Political governance overcomes the concern for survival and experience a phase of stability and foresight; SOCIAL COHESION does not fail; and finally that the territorial integrity of a country is not subjected to foreign invasion and internal disintegration. The societal security means that different social groups such as academics, workers, clergy and military, thinks that first their identity and life is in danger and second that they express their identity and aspirations in a clear way. The question is that can a SOCIAL SECURITY, i.e., the assurance of social groups to maintain their own identity and life, be considered as the vital Core and the stabilizing center of national security? Applying an interpretive approach, this article tries to test the hypothesis that "SOCIAL SECURITY" due to the inclusion of extra-individual and non-material concerns is an essential and enduring element of national security.
