Abstract

The sense of security is the psychological social phenomenon that has different dimensions. This feeling comes from direct and indirect experiences of people of the conditions of surrounding environment and the different people experience it in different ways. Common threats that are more or less in all communities creates a sense of lack of security. Security feeling as a social variable can be influenced by various social and individual factors, including social inequality, the amount of available social capital, Social welfare, social stability, adherence to shared values, social trust and other factors such as gender, age, religion, etc. The finding in this study reflects the view of 384 citizens of the Hormozgan province in relation to the social security on the criminal, financial, intellectual dimensions and the effect of social dimensions on it. The present study is a survey type and a multi-step cluster sampling method and the questionnaire technique was used to collect data in the population of 6777555 person (in east, west and central of the Hormozgan province) with sample size of 384 people, between 18 to 64 years old citizens and used the test of variance analysis, T student, Pearson & Regression and SPSS software. . The results of statistical tests indicate significant relationship between social justice, quality of lif), Social welfare, Ethics of development, social stability as the independent variables of the hypothesis and the feeling of security as the dependent variable of research hypothesis. Also in the regression analysis, the independent variables explained about 37. 5 percent of the dependent variable.
