Abstract

Linking rights on the one hand, and politics and social environment on the other hand, face humans and their societies with the important and humanistic concept of political rights. In each society, political rights, is one of the hallmarks of civilization and human development. The identical and concrete manifestation of political rights in the main document and official law of each country, is to be searched through the constitution. This paper has scrutinized and investigated the women's political rights according to Islamic Republic of Iran's constitution principles. Based on Islamic Republic of Iran's constitution, women rights is studied and examined according to two indices and variables of political participation (election rights) and suitable enterprise and management and political positions. There is no legal impediment and formal obstacle in Islamic Republic of Iran's constitution for women's political participation, just in some certain cases, taking senior managerial positions such as supreme leadership, presidential, and judgeship, because of numerous reasons that are discussed, limitations and prohibitions are witnessed.
