Abstract

The general purpose of this study is to survey the rate of DEPRESSION among KHOY CITY females and its effective factors. This study is of survey type. The statistical population in this research was all the females of Khoy within the age range of 20-60. The method of sampling was random cluster sampling. The number of statistical sample was 383 females, and this was calculated by Cochran Formula. Statistical analysis was done by Rank (ordinal) test, one way variance analysis, T-test, by using SPSS software. The means of research was “Beck DEPRESSION Inventory test “which has 13 Items. Results show that there was not a meaningful difference between married an unmarried women, working and non-working ‚ in various ages and woman with different educational level.
