Abstract

The purpose of this study is to compare traits of the state AIRLINES and the private ones in Iran which are based on their entrepreneurial characteristics. These characteristics include ENTREPRENEURSHIP, risk taking, focus of control, need for Achievement, mind fluency, functionality, visionary (dream fullness), ambiguity tolerance and challenge ability. Tools of entrepreneur's personal characteristics were used. To do this research, twenty state managers and twenty non state ones were selected by descriptive judgment method. The result being achieved by the Manova at the level of -5% didn’t show any kind of difference between entrepreneurial characteristics of the managers of Iranian state and private.
