Abstract

Study the efficiency of visual-motor- DRAWING TRAININGs on reduction of visual perception errors, in preschoolers who have DEVELOPMENTAL DELAYs, was the aim of this research. The sample group was chosen by randomized cluster sampling method, from all kindergartens of kerman (Iran). After identifying 45 preschoolers with probably DEVELOPMENTAL DELAYs, a developmental scale, Goudenough drawing test, and BENDER-GESTALT (koppitz scale), for 30 children were done, they had significantly more errors than their peers. They put to experimental and comparing groups by random. After preparing training materials and booklets, the experimental group were trained through 30 sessions (the length each session was 45 minutes). The results of covariance analysis method showed, DRAWING TRAININGs could be effective to reduce visual-motor errors significantly. The implications of this research could be used to preschool trainings and enhancing DEVELOPMENTAL DELAYs in important early years of childhood.
