META-ANALYSIS OF EFFECTIVENESS OF PSYCHOLOGICAL-EDUCATIONAL INTERVENTIONS ON ACADEMIC PERFORMANCE OF DYSCALCULIA STUDENTS

Abstract

 Introduction: The goal of this study is META-ANALYSIS of researches about effectiveness of psychological-educational interventions on academic performance of DYSCALCULIA students in Iran.Method: This study with META-ANALYSIS or integrating the results of different studies, determine the effect size of psychological psychological-educational interventions on academic performance of DYSCALCULIA students. For this purpose among 22 studies, 17 studies which were methodology accepted and META-ANALYSIS was done on them. The research instrument was META-ANALYSIS checklist. This study includes 508 subjects and 17 effect sizes.Results: The results of META-ANALYSIS indicated rate of effect size psychological-educational interventions on academic performance of DYSCALCULIA students 1.21 (p=0.001). This effect size according to Cohen table has high effect size. The highest effect size in researches was that of Amani and et (d=2.34) and the lowest effect size were those of Karghar and et and Kazemi and et (d=0.63). Conclusion: It means psychological-educational interventions on academic performance of DYSCALCULIA students in Iran have high impact.
