Abstract

Comparing acceptance for RESIDENCY between graduates from AZAD UNIVERSITY & Governmental universities of 3830 AZAD UNIVERSITY graduates from 1991-98 538 were accepted for RESIDENCY (14%). Most were from Tehran (26%) & The least from Kazeroon units (6.2%).The acceptance rate for RESIDENCY was a little bit more in AZAD UNIVERSITY graduates but they were accepted mainly in non-surgery fields which need less.grade for acceptance. More research is necessary for definition of the causes.
