Abstract

The purpose of this study is thought of "APPROXIMATION" from the view of IMAM KHOMEINI and AYATOLLAH BOROUJERDI. Given that one of the main purposes of the divine law and intellectual orders, is the issue of unity and this purpose is an intellectual and religious necessity and (This purpose) is one of the factors for survival of human society. On the other hand, today's divisive political tactics have become major powers in Islamic countries, has led to political unity of Muslims be one of the great reformers concerned, The present study addresses these questions: How IMAM KHOMEINI and AYATOLLAH BOROUJERDI (including revivalists thoughts APPROXIMATION) evaluate the proximity between religions? How are they achieved political unity of Muslims? Is unity, tactical or strategic approach? What are the consequences and implications of political unity of the Muslim world? What are the ways of strengthening unity? According to the above questions, this study used archival research and citing all traces left by these scholars is to examine the issue. The results show that the IMAM KHOMEINI and AYATOLLAH BOROUJERDI viewed the strategic plan to achieve unity and APPROXIMATION, in terms of political theory and the unity as a matter of strategy and strategic, And were working within a process, include the steps substrate. And conditions for the realization of unity, Activation of the political and religious elite, (as executors of unity), and applying the necessary tools, navigate the unity of Muslims.
