Abstract

Iranian society has been exposed to a great deal of cultural and social transformations in recent Decades.INTERNET entrance is one of these changes; INTERNET is a phenomenon which has great influences on different aspects of social life.Also, VALUEs are one of the most remarkable sections of cultural system at large level and character system at small level and have a large influence on peoples' mental and behavioral paradigm and have share on different aspects of individual and social issues.According to swift changes in man's different facets of life in recent years, VALUEs have been changed in various aspects.Therefore changes of VALUEs can be deemed of one of the achievements of INTERNET. The main goal of the researcher in this survey is to study the role of INTERNET on FAMILY's VALUEs (a study on Tehran YOUTHS, region 15)To conduct this research, Survey method has been exploited and according to Kukran formula, the sample of this research includes 389 people of Tehran YOUTHS, region 15, aging 18 to 28 using INTERNET and designated by method of incidental sampling.By using surveying data, two aspects of traditional and rational VALUEs have been examined.The major instrument for gathering information in this survey is questioner which has been analyzed through descriptive and explanatory statistics and through SPSS software.In this research, after studying the aspects of traditional and rational VALUEs, and also influential elements on youth's VALUEs, by using theories of scope of communications and theories of scope of VALUE, role of INTERNET on FAMILY VALUEs has been examined from various aspects.The results illuminates that using of INTERNET has positive and cumulative effect with tendency on rational VALUEs and decreasing effect on traditional VALUEs.
