Abstract

 In this study, the three dimensional developing flow and heat transfer of VISCOELASTIC FLUID are modeled using the Giesekus constitutive equation. The governing equations are solved in a staggered grids using finite difference method. Due to the considering the second normal stress difference in the rheological model, the corner vortices in developing and fully developed regions are observable. Here, the dependency of material modules on temperature is modeled using appropriate equation of states. The numerical results have a suitable agreement with previous studies.
