Abstract

Tallesh County has lots of natural landscapes and ECOTOURISM attractions. Some of the most important of them are Caspian Sea beaches, Hirkanian forests and Tallesh Mountains. Nowadays, the vast parts of these tourism attractions are being destroyed because of improper operation and inaccurate management and exploitation, due to lack of spatial planning laws and principles. Whereas the first step for economic planning is identifying resources, capabilities and LIMITATIONS. The main aim of this study was to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats affecting the GROWTH of ECOTOURISM of Tallesh County. The sub purpose was specifying ECOTOURISM access routes in this county. This study was based upon descriptive – analytic method and the necessary data were collected using library and survey methods. The results indicated that according to the SWOT, ECOTOURISM GROWTH strategies of Tallesh County were W-O and W-T strategies and Ecotouristic access routes in this county consisted of five ways of rural area of Hashtpar, Asalem, Seasides, Haviq, and Lysar.
