Abstract

The first reason that why TOURISM industry develops in most of the countries is to make use of its economic benefits, although there are other reasons regarding this issue. TOURISM industry could have significant effects on the increase of employment, residences’ income and hotels as well as government incomes. The degree of tourists’ attraction is considered as one of the controversial issues in terms of TOURISM activity because it has a direct effect on the region’s income state. According to such framework, the present paper aims at investigating the state of TOURISM attraction in KHUZESTAN PROVINCE using quantitative-statistical analysis method (regression model). The regression model was chosen from among different methods of tourists’ demand volume and it examined different factors in attracting tourists in KHUZESTAN PROVINCE. The analysis of chosen intervening variables’ degree of effectiveness confirmed the extent of seasonal changes as the most significant factor in tourists’ attraction fluctuations through the effect on the volume of tourists’ attraction. Thus, the most significant problems taken place are related to hot seasons. Being aware of the accurate extent of tourists’ attraction in each season and its relationship with other effective factors, managers of TOURISM section in KHUZESTAN PROVINCE are able to formulate and implement TOURISM development programs accurately. The research type was applied-developmental and research method was documental and analytical-causal. Also, to analyze th obtained data, SPSS was used. In order to draw diagrams, the Excel software was used. Based on the findings, it was predicted that 1539717, 1626527, 1713337, 1800147, 1886957, 1973767, 2060577, and 2147387 DOMESTIC TOURISTs may visit KHUZESTAN PROVINCE from 2014 until 2021. Also, it was predicted that 31287, 32654, 34021, 36388, 36755, 38122, 39489, 40856 FOREIGN TOURISTs may visit KHUZESTAN PROVINCE from 2014 until 2021.
