Abstract

Purpose: The goal of this research is analyzing the links between the websites of centers under the supervision of Agricultural Research, Training and Propagation Organization, and Faculties of Agriculture under the supervision of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology.Methodology: The method used in is the LINK ANALYSIS method, which is one of the webometric methods. The research society is composed of 46 websites including 24 websites of Faculties of Agriculture under the supervision of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology and 22 websites of centers under the supervision of Agricultural Research, Training and Propagation Organization. Excel, SPSS, and MATLAB softwares were used for data analysis.Findings: The results showed that the website of Tehran Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Engineering with 93200 in-links (43.87%) and the website of Faculty of Agricultural Sciences of Ferdowsi University of Mashhad with 23300 in-links (10.96%) and the websites of the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences of Shiraz University and the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences of Tarbiat Modares University with 16600 in-links (7.81%) hold the most in-links and so the highest scale of VISIBILITY in the web environment. The computation of the WEB IMPACT FACTOR shows that the websites of the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources of Saravan (Sistan & Baluchestan) with an impact factor of 21.06 (11.41%) and the website of the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences of Lorestan with an impact factor of 20.45 (11.13%) and the website of the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences of Tarbiat Modares University with an impact factor of 19.71 (10.6%) hold the highest net impact factor.Conclusion: Based on clustering method, these websites cooperate in two main clusters in the web environment. It was also realized that there is a significant relationship between the measure of CO-LINK and the number of in-links (scale of VISIBILITY).
