Abstract

This study was aimed to explore the relationship between LOVING STYLEs and MARITAL QUALITY. The sample consisted of 180 married couples who were selected randomly from among clients referred to Community and Counseling Centers in Isfahan and responded to Love Attitude Scale (LAS) and Revised Dyadic Adjustment Scale (RDAS). The results of path analysis showed that there were positive and significant relationships between Eros, Storg and Agape love styles and MARITAL SATISFACTION, consensus and cohesion (p<0.05). Also, the results showed negative relationships between Ludus, Mania and Pragma love styles and MARITAL SATISFACTION, consensus and cohesion (p<0.05). These results can be applied in premarital counseling and in predicting of prosperous marriage.
