Abstract

Types of planning affected the different aspects of life, so that new social conceptions such as SOCIAL WELFARE, LIFE QUALITY, social justice and environmental quality are presented in the realm of planning and community development, which is affected by requirements and new knowledge. Also importance and role of city LIFE QUALITY in all aspects of life got special value and play important role in the environmental health of urban life as the most important human settlements (where the many people strongly influenced by the prevailing conditions of their environment). Studies of LIFE QUALITY in developing countries, especially in Iran are scarce. Therefore the base of LIFE QUALITY measuring in OLD TEXTURE of REGION 9 OF MUNICIPALITY OF TEHRAN is satisfaction with the quality of life in view of urban residents. Research method in this study is survey and deductive - inductive method. In fact by assessment of LIFE QUALITY literature considered factors extracted (deductive method) and then using inductive method (questionnaire gathering), aspects of life satisfaction in view of settlements are gathered and then assessed using Pierson correlation analysis techniques, one sample Kolmogorov - Smimov Test, one sample T test, multi variable regression and path analyze. Results show that satisfaction of physical, social, economic and environmental features are significant and imply the low quality in these factors. So that transportation, settlement, CITY RULES, recreational access have the most effect on the life satisfaction rate in the OLD TEXTURE of REGION 9 OF MUNICIPALITY OF TEHRAN.
