Abstract

 The present studied, The impact of group cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) on DEPRESSION reduction and increase of MARITAL SATISFACTION in married women referring to Rasht city counseling centers.the present research experiment and The participants were selected by the researcher's announcement through available sampling. Then the Beck's DEPRESSION questionnaire form and MARITAL SATISFACTION questionnaire form were applied to the women who had answered positively to the researcher's announcement. In addition to these two clinical tools, the marital dissatisfaction of the women was also studied through diagnostic and clinical interview based on DSM-IV-.TR. In the next stage, based on cut point of the tools clinical interview, 28 persons were chosen in simply random way including 2 experimental group and one control group: cognitive-behavioral therapy (7 sessions) and control group (with no psychological meddling). An end of each treatment, the group were restudied using the mentioned tools (post-test) And after a month the same tools were applied to them (following).data were analyzed using multiple analysis of variance and showed that the tow meddling methods cognitive-Behavioral therapy and mindfulness-based cognitive therapy significantly level (p £ 0/0001) in DEPRESSION reduction and increase of MARITAL SATISFACTION.result showed cognitive-Behavioral therapy effective increase marital function in problem solving, sentiment companionship and function family.
