Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the factors related to SOCIAL PARTICIPATION of Tabriz Azad university students. SOCIAL PARTICIPATION is a sense of belonging and collective effort of community in order to achieve a fair social system. The sample population of the study is 25611Tabriz Azad university students that 386 of them are chosen as a statistical sample by Corcoran formula and simple random sampling method. The research method is survey and a researcher-made questionnaire that has acceptable reliability and validity was used. Data were analyzed by SPSS software, Pearson correlation tests, t-test, and variance. The results showed that there is relationship between SOCIAL IDENTITY, SATISFACTION OF UNIVERSITY SERVICES and SOCIAL PARTICIPATION of students, SOCIAL PARTICIPATION of students is different based on their sex, and SOCIAL PARTICIPATION of female students is more than male students.
