Abstract

 This study examined the relationship between SOCIAL ACCEPTANCE and SOCIAL SKILLS among students of Islamic Azad University of Shabestar. The main objective of the study is understanding the SOCIAL ACCEPTANCE rate among students and comparing them based on factors such as gender, their MAJORs and age and also examining its relationship with SOCIAL SKILLS. The research method is correlation of SOCIAL ACCEPTANCE of Crown- Marlow and the data was collected by researcher-made questionnaire that include some items for measuring related factors such as gender, SOCIAL SKILLS and other variables. The sample size includes 400 students who were chosen by classified– random sampling method. Correlation coefficients, T- test and analysis of variance were used to analyze the data.The results show that, the SOCIAL ACCEPTANCE is at highest percentage. Also, there is no significant difference between genders, but there is significant difference between studying MAJORs. Appropriate skills are the most important factors associated with SOCIAL ACCEPTANCE.
