Abstract

DISCOURSE ANALYSIS, is an interdisciplinary approach that has its roots in linguistics. The term is used by “Zlykhrys" for the first time. The main goal of DISCOURSE ANALYSIS is to find the new technique in the study of texts, media, culture, science, politics, and society.The approach of critical DISCOURSE ANALYSIS is developmental of DISCOURSE ANALYSIS in linguistic studies which from individual and methodological points of view has upgraded the DISCOURSE ANALYSIS from description of texts to explanation level. In critical DISCOURSE ANALYSIS, the critique of IDEOLOGY and POWER is considered more than the other types of DISCOURSE ANALYSIS. This article has sought the introduction of critical DISCOURSE ANALYSIS and the well-known theorists in this field.
