Abstract

 The present study was conducted in order to investigate the social factors related to organizational commitment among employees of the department of culture and Islamic guidance of East Azerbaijan. Seven hypotheses were studied in order to achieve the research objectives. The statistical population of this study was all employees of the department of culture and Islamic guidance of East Azerbaijan. Using the stratified random sampling 66 people was selected as the sample size through Morgan table. In order to collect data a researcher-made questionnaire was completed by the samples. Survey method has been used in this study, given the nature of the issue. The descriptive and inferential statistics such as Pearson correlation coefficient and regression were used for hypotheses testing after extraction of data. The results show that, there is a significant relationship between the variables of the effectiveness of training and development, payroll, performance evaluation, appropriate relation with employees and engagement with organizational commitment. But there is not a significant relationship between variable of employment alternative opportunities with organizational commitment.
