Abstract

This study was aimed to investigate the relationship between the religiosity and the lifestyle among Shahindej citizens. The population the study was 29000 citizens has been from whom 379 individuals (over15 years old) were selected by Cochran formula and multistage random sampling. A standardized questionnaire was distributed among the population of the sample. The constancy of the questionnaire showed a high coefficient for continuing of the study. By analyzing the questionnaire and examining the hypothesis in a descriptive statistic and comprehensive way the following results were obtained: There is a meaningful relationship between the variables of body management, interpersonal communications, norms of consumption, education level, age and the degree of religiosity of Shahindej citizens. And there is also a meaningful difference between the variables of the citizens’ married life and the degree of their religiosity.
