Abstract

 IN FRENCH: L’ Approche Neurolinguistique (ANL) a é té conç ue par deux chercheurs/professeurs canadiens, Netten et Germain en 1997 au Canada. À l’ heure actuelle (2018), l’ ANL s’ est ré pandue dans diffé rents milieux, en Chine, au Japon, en Taiwan et en France tant dans le milieu institutionnel qu’ universitaire. Les straté gies d’ enseignement prô né es dans l’ ANL dé coulent notamment des neurosciences, en particulier, de la thé orie neurolinguistique du bilinguisme de Paradis. Dans l’ ANL, la primauté est accordé e au dé veloppement de la grammaire interne (habileté à communiquer à l’ oral) sans passer par le long dé tour du savoir explicite sur la langue. Dans cet article, nous cherchons à savoir quels sont les ré sultats de l’ ANL dans le contexte iranien. Pour ce faire, nous avons mis en parallè le l’ ANL avec une mé thode courante d’ enseignement/apprentissage du franç ais en Iran. Nous avons choisi deux groupes d’ apprenants adultes, expé rimental et contrô le. Nous avons eu recours sur le plan analytique à la mé thode quantitative/qualitative. Les ré sultats montrent que le groupe expé rimental atteint des scores supé rieurs en production orale mais infé rieurs en compré hension orale par rapport au groupe contrô le. IN ENGLISH: The Neurolinguistic Approach (NLA) is a new pedagogical approach to foreign language teaching/learning conceptualized by Netten & Germain in 1997 in Canada. At the moment (2018), the NLA has been spread in different countries, in China, Japan, Taiwan and France both in the institutional and university environment. This pedagogical approach is based on recent researches in neurolinguistics, especially Michel Paradis’ s neurolinguistic theory of bilingualism. In NLA, the main principle is to first develop the ability to communicate orally without learning explicit knowledge. In this article, we investigate whether NLA is applicable in the Iranian context. To do so, we paralleled the NLA with a current method of teaching / learning French as a Foreign Language in Iran. Therefore, we have chosen an experimental and a control group and we used both quantitative and qualitative methods. The test results show the experimental group achieves superior results in oral production but lower in oral comprehension.
