Abstract

The aim of the study was to check the construct Validity of Parkers' Parental Bonding Scale. The sample of this study consisted of 340 high school students (170 boys and 170 girls) was chosen with multi stage cluster sampling method. In this study, Psychometric properties of the Persian version of the Parker's PARENTAL BONDING INSTRUMENT have been analyzed by CONFIRMATORY FACTOR ANALYSIS .The results of CONFIRMATORY FACTOR ANALYSIS supported a four-factor model. Analyses show that PARENTAL BONDING INSTRUMENT has a sustainable reliability and validity for use in psychology researchers.
