Abstract

This study have used of some indicators for measuring welfare expenditures (CV) and by using the demand function( LAIDS) Effect of exchange rate price increase on the welfare cost of consumption of ENERGY CARRIERS addressed in Iran. The data used includes the prices of ENERGY CARRIERS (gas domestic, imported gasoline, kerosene, gas oil, fuel oil, gas and other products), and the share of consumption in the period 1387-1359. It should be noted that the impact of exchange rate fluctuations by the price of imported gasoline have been studied. Data shows that by increase of exchange rate we face up with fluctuation of imported gasoline as well. Model results suggest that according to the first scenario the increase in the exchange rate and consequently the price of imported gasoline price should decreased 06% of consumer welfare and in order to offset income to achieve the welfare of society in line with scenario should be paid an annual sum of 59 thousand Railsper household.
