Abstract

Recently, the laws of quantum mechanics have amazed classical cryptography and aided researchers to provide secure communications in presence of adversaries. The need for security protocols and systems has been essential due to the widespread use of internet shopping and electronic banking. In this paper we present a new ELECTRONIC PAYMENT protocol for off-line transactions which is similar to the bank cheques and guarantees the security of payment in different real applications relying on quantum physics' fundamentals. In this paper we describe the proposed protocol in detail through a real example and analyze its security.
