STUDY OF TRAFFIC ENFORCEMENT THROUGH ELECTRICAL CHARGE MODEL

Abstract

 In this article, considering traffice regulations in the main part of freeway, ELECTRICAL CHARGES micro model has been used for describing drivers, motional behaviour. To observe or failure to observe safe longitudinal distance is the main target of this research. Based on the mentioned model, place positions of vehicles lane changing and chasing has been determined. Comparing vehicles positions in real conditions with their corresponding values in simulation enviorments, adapting level of the model to drivers, motional behaviour has been specified in real conditions. A traffic micro simulator software has been used for SIMULATING the model in this study. Performing stages of the research respectively is "formalizing, calibrating, applying in software enviorment, evaluating and analyzing the model output". Former research data gathered from Karaj- Tehran freeway has been utilized as well. It represents that output results of ELECTRICAL CHARGES in the mode of inattention to traffic rules for the same data correspond to real conditions. At last, the results gathered from simulation based on observing the law has been compared with real conditions data of EM model credit for calculating average speed and number of vehicles lane change.
