Abstract

One of the human needs is the need to express joy and HAPPINESS. HAPPINESS can be defined as enjoying the satisfaction of the demands of public life or the life of the individual, including work, school, leisure, not having negative feelings such as stress, depression, etc. HAPPINESS is not only a matter of individual and mental act, but it is produced by a mutual interaction with the community. In other words, it is created by social interaction of people in the business community. So various factors in Production network are involved in the production and increase and decrease in joy. The aim of this study is to analyze the relationship between SOCIAL CAPITAL and joy among students. The target population consists of 9729 students who are studying in Tehran Islamic Azad University, Science and Research Branch. A sample of 300 individuals is selected by a systematic random sampling. The results show that students’ joy (55%) and their SOCIAL CAPITAL (63%) are assessed in a good level .As a result, the relationship between SOCIAL CAPITAL and joy is confirmed. The students who have higher levels of SOCIAL CAPITAL are happier than students who have lower levels of SOCIAL CAPITAL. The social space created between the students where new social relations in the new environment are shaped by the interactions of the student will become more joyful to students.
