Abstract

Researches have always been interested in the economic impact of TOURISM more than the social effects of it. Social and cultural effects of TOURISM occur where TOURISM change the system in aspects of values, behavior, families' relations, collective lifestyle, traditional ceremonies and social organizations. This article aim s at improving the QUALITY OF LIFE by highlighting the impact of TOURISM factors of development in TEHRAN CITY. The research method is survey and a questionnaire is used for data collection and data analysis is performed using SPSS software. The statistical population is people residing in 22 districts of Tehran a 384 sample selected using Cochran formula and stratified sampling with proportional allocation. The results show that the variables such as more job opportunities, higher per capita income, infrastructure development, increase literacy, improve individual and public health, reduce migration, improve leisure facilities, cultural exchanges, raise awareness, increase interaction with neighboring areas and infrastructure development are the main factors of life quality that influence the development of the TOURISM industry.
