Abstract

Childbearing is an important phenomenon in the population movements and sustainable development for countries that have low levels of substitution. The purpose of this study is to investigate the social factors affecting TENDENCY TOWARD CHILDBEARING with survey method. The theoretical framework is constructed based on Esterlyn centered thoughts and theories of Habermas and Stark Glark. The population consists of all men and women in the age group 45 to 25 years old. 380 individuals are selected as a sample size using Cochran formula. Data required is collected by multistage random cluster sampling. Questionnaire validity is assessed by calculating Cronbach's alpha and coefficients using factor analysis, and then using descriptive statistics method, correlation of each variable with social security is assessed. In Pearson correlation coefficient' test, there is a significant relationship between independent variables such as GENDER SOCIALIZATION, PARENTING PROBLEMS, SOCIAL PARTICIPATION, access to food and religiousness with TENDENCY TOWARD CHILDBEARING. According to the regression, variables such as GENDER SOCIALIZATION, the number of children desired, collaboration and RELIGION have an impact on TENDENCY TOWARD CHILDBEARING.
