Abstract

SOCIAL CAPITAL is to new concepts that consider links, the relationship between members of a municipal network as a source of valuable points. And with the creating mutual norms, makes the goals of its members come to realization. Therefore has a more important role than physical capital and spatial capital in communities. On the other hand cities as the highest form of human settlements are the focus of this research. Therefore, according to this study with the approach of development - functional and with a combination of research methods (athletics, library, descriptive and analytical), the examination of SOCIAL CAPITAL in AHVAZ METROPOLIS in line with SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT is executed. The analysis is done by statistical methods and softwares such as VIKOR, Minitab, SPSS, Vsio and ArcGIS. The results show regions six and seven of Ahvaz in three groups, R, S and Q has the highest rank. In other words, all conditions in VIKOR model exist in these areas. So that an average of VIKOR model is 0.425 percent and the part six of the metropolitan region has the highest with 1.00 percent and part two of AHVAZ METROPOLIS has the lowest rate.
