Abstract

Although the subject of women and the FAMILY has been in the center of attention before Islamic Revolution among the revolutionary leaders, but with the establishment of the Islamic Republic of Iran and global developments that have taken place in parallel with the development of this system, it is still a challenging issue. Therefore, policy makers and PLANners have always been with sensitive and attentive on this issue and considering the consequences of globalization on different cultural, social, economic and political dimensions, it is a necessity to rethink policies and appropriate programs according to the natural needs of today's Iranian society. This article is an applied research that uses a documentary method of collecting information. It aims to provide a fair analysis of the situation and status of women in the constitution and other NATIONAL DOCUMENTS in the Islamic Republic of Iran. To achieve this goal, some questions have been raised and the most important of them are as follows: 1. is the dominant approach of LAWs, policies and programs in the areas of FAMILY and women alike? What is this approach? 2. are policies, LAWs and programs in the field of women and FAMILY capable in balancing women FAMILY and social role? 3. with past policies aside, do LAWs and programs and affecting factors such as globalization and changing lifestyles have managed to balance the role of women in today’s society? In order to organize the debate, the research is presented in five sections. Finally, in conclusion, the questions have been answered and, while explaining shortcomings, some proposals to strengthen the position of women and the FAMILY in today's Iran are presented.
