Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the performance ASSESSMENT FACTORS for university coaches and to compare and prioritize these factors based on their importance from Islamic Azad University managers’ and coaches’ viewpoints.40 SPORT COACHES and 25 SPORT MANAGERS who participated in championships were selected randomly. The factors were gathered based on the review of the related literature and after their validation, a questionnaire was made which included coaching knowledge, punctuality, personal skills, moral and personality features, skills to develop athletes, and well experiences. The findings indicated that SPORT COACHES and managers prioritize the ASSESSMENT FACTORS differently. The results of T-test for independent groups showed a significant difference in motivational and managerial skills between the two groups.
