“ Content” and “ Citation” in Medical Narratives

Abstract

Introduction The medical science has series of problem statements, answering to which must be discovered. The common medicine, with all the statements about it, has a methodology and basis for answering its questions and proceeds according to it. In the case of Islamic medicine, we do not encounter conventional methodology and foundations as an alternative to conventional medicine. Today, although referring to hadiths and narratives to achieve new medicine is a new phenomenon, but the referring to narrative is not a new phenomenon. Over the centuries, many hadith schools have considered the citation in hadith, including Akhbâ riun and Usuliun schools, each of which with a new concept to present. The aim of the present research was to express the scope of the “ content” and “ citation” analysis in the field of Islamic medical hadith. Conclusion The approach to confronting Medical narratives should be accompanied by a scientific encounter; in how to collect narrative, in content analysis, and in the testing and conclusion stages. Too much and too little that are typically seen in the face of Medical narratives are both harmful. It is both harmful that all of these narratives are seen as a definite tradition or that they are all considered with lack of confidence and without any expert review.
