Abstract

DEPRESSION is considered as a complex disorder, multi-component and debilitating which one out of every four people suffers in his or her lifetime.Objectives: The present study intends to analyze the bases of DEPRESSION from viewpoint of ghashieh (the whelming calamity) surah and suggesting remedy and solutions.Method: The method of the present article is studying the words for understanding the concepts and phrases in holy Quran which will lead to discovering the DEPRESSION model in Quran from viewpoint of ghashieh surah. Results: The results of the survey indicate ineffective behaviors and practices as one of the basic elements in development of DEPRESSION.Conclusion: The author of the article concludes the type of believes, behaviors, excitements, emotions and other structural aspects of human existence are determiners of the type of disorders and consequently the methods of remedy and problem solving for each person as a unique creature.
