Abstract

 Improvement of ORGANIZATIONAL CULTURE is one of the key strategies for greater effectiveness. The ORGANIZATIONAL CULTURE can simply apply the necessary changes to the system and bring it in the new orientations. The present study has been aimed to explain the role of ORGANIZATIONAL CULTURE in the readiness of CITY BANK personnel for change. the research Method is cross - correlation and the target population - about 2204 persons - is all the CITY BANK employees in Tehran that 327 subjects of them were selected randomly by using Cochran sampling formula. To collect necessary data we used the questionnaire Denison ORGANIZATIONAL CULTURE and READINESS TO CHANGE questionnaire Dunham et al. Also To analyze the data, descriptive and inferential statistical methods like «r» Pearson's correlation coefficient (R) and Stepwise regression were used. The results showed that between the ORGANIZATIONAL CULTURE and its dimensions (involved in the work, consistency, adaptability and mission) and READINESS TO CHANGE of Bank employees, there is a significant positive correlation. The results of Stepwise regression showed that of the 4 dimensions of ORGANIZATIONAL CULTURE (predictive factors): compatibility Predictor variables 0.695, mission 0.511 and Adaptation 0.444, predict the readiness for change in the bank employee.
