THE STUDY OF PERFORMANCE OF JUDOKAS WITH DIFFERENT AEROBIC AND ANAEROBIC POWER IN SPECIAL JUDO FITNESS

Abstract

 The purpose of this study was to evaluate the performance of judokas with different aerobic and ANAEROBIC POWER in SPECIAL JUDO FITNESS TEST. For this purpose, 33 Judoka men in Kermanshah were selected with at least three years of experience in this field and regular practice and participation in official competitions; and the sampling in this study were available (age: 22.60±2.25year, weight:72.5±5.5 kg, height: 175.4±5.6 cm). The instruments used in this study were SPECIAL JUDO FITNESS TEST, cycle ergo-meter for 30 sec Wingate anaerobic test and treadmill for Bruce maximal aerobic test. In order to avoid the effects of fatigue tests on each test, between each test, there was three days off. Therefore, for data analysis, we used parametric tests. To assess differences between the two groups, high and low aerobic and ANAEROBIC POWER test was used for Judo, as well as the Pearson correlation coefficient in order to examine the relationship between aerobic and anaerobic capacities with SPECIAL JUDO FITNESS TEST. The results showed that between the two groups with high and down AEROBIC POWER there is a significant difference in the performance of Judo test (p£0.05). In addition individuals with higher AEROBIC POWER showed a better performance. But, the results of comparison between the judokas ANAEROBIC POWER up and down showed that the two group had no significantly difference in the performance of Judo test (p³0.05). Also, the results showed that there is a correlation with a high significant level between AEROBIC POWER (VO2max) and SPECIAL JUDO FITNESS TEST (p£0.01). However, there is no significant relationship between ANAEROBIC POWER (peak power) and SPECIAL JUDO FITNESS TEST (p³0.05). So, this study suggests that that Judokas with higher AEROBIC POWER had better performance in judo test.
