IDENTIFICATION AND DETERMINATION OF MACROBENTHIC BIOMASS FOR AQUACULTURE IN LAKE ARASBARAN DAM RESERVOIR

Abstract

 In this study, the study of Benthic Lake Arasbaran reservoir dam in East Azarbaijan Province was carried out with aquaculture purposes. Sampling from the lake in 2010 was carried out from 4 stations with three replications. During this study, 3 families of Benthic Invertebrates including Chironomidae, Lumbriculidae and Tubificidae were identified. Their abundance was 74, 3 and 27 number/m2 respectively, and BIOMASS of these creatures was respectively 0.24, 0.02 and 0.11 g / m2. There was no significant difference between MACROBENTHIC BIOMASS at different stations (p<0.05). The natural production capacity of the lake was estimated to be about 0.2 to 1.7 kg / ha for Estimated. The amount of lake production at different times for the 180 ha level of the lake will be 133 ± 20.9kg.
