Abstract

This article's purpose is study of interGENERATION VALUE GAP between families in Tehran. Theoretical framework is a mixture of sociological and psychological theories. For testing the hypothesis, 336 fathers and their children (girl and boy) in Tehran are surveyed by multistage cluster sampling method. The results show a VALUE GAP between GENERATIONs. VALUE REDUNDANCY of fathers (0.37) and CONFLICT OF NORMS between GENERATIONs (0.36) have direct impact on dependent variable.
