 Introduction: JOB STRESS is one the most factors of physical and emotional impairments on staffs and decreased productivity in organizations. Nursing is a high tension profession and many NURSEs work in highly stressful settings. The aim of this research is to investigate the relationship between JOB STRESS and RESILIENCY among NURSEs.Methods: In this descriptive research 156 NURSEs of Kermanshah hospitals were selected as a sample by using convenience sampling method. England Health and Safety Institution JOB STRESS questionnaire and Conner and Davidson RESILIENCY questionnaire were used for data gathering. Correlation and regression was use for data analysis.Results: The mean of NURSEs’ JOB STRESS and RESILIENCY was 3.026 and 3.11 respectively. The correlation between JOB STRESS and RESILIENCY was strong and statistically significant. JOB STRESS has a positive direct effect on RESILIENCY and explain 66 percent of changes in RESILIENCY.Conclusion: Finding shows that sample members was experience JOB STRESS in their working setting.As the social and personal factors have the most effect on RESILIENCY, promoting interaction and cooperation with coworkers and enhancing awareness of job responsibility can increase RESILIENCY.
