Abstract

Because of daily increasing of divorce and its destroyer consequence on people and society, this study was done with the purpose of Comparison between personality’s traits, and life quality of COUPLES IN THE THRESHOLD OF DIVORCE. The pattern of this research is correlative. Its statistical population includes all applicant couples of divorce, referred to family counseling center of Sanandaj Justice and counseling center of in 1390. The sampling included 57 women and 33 men in the threshold of divorce that was selected by access and voluntary sampling. The tools of study were: 1. Personality five factor’s questionnaire NEO-FFI 2.WHOQOL-BREF Quality life questionnaire. Data were analyzed by Pearson co- efficient analysis of multiple regressions. The result showed that there was meaningful and reversal relationship between neuroticism and life quality, direct and meaningful relationship between extroversion and life quality, openness and life quality and conscience and life quality but there was not meaningful relationship between agreement and life quality.13% variances related to life quality was predicted by FIVE FACTOR PERSONALITY. According to results of this study, counselors and family therapist can pay attention to personality traits in pre-counseling marriage and give awareness to people in the threshold of marriage.
