Abstract

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of Bowen SELF-DIFFERENTIATION on ASSERTIVENESS BEHAVIORS among MARRIED WOMEN in Isfahan. Method: The research method was quasi-experimental pre-test - post-test with control group. Statistical population was all MARRIED WOMEN in Isfahan. The participants were 60 MARRIED WOMEN who were selected randomly among the people with low score on Gambrill and Richy (1975) assertiveness questionnaire. Then they randomly assigned into two experimental and control groups (N=30). The experimental group received eight sessions of Bowen SELF-DIFFERENTIATION group counseling. The control group received no intervention. The data were analyzed using covariance analysis. The results showed that Bowen SELF-DIFFERENTIATION counseling had significant effecti on ASSERTIVENESS BEHAVIORS among MARRIED WOMEN.
